So, lately, I've been getting into politics a lot more as it's an interesting and important aspect of adulthood, as politics also decide how you're going to live. I've been a liberal for a good year or two, therefore I supported Hillary Clinton in the elections of 2016. But, as I've been getting more into politics, I've become a conservative and I'm glad I escaped the left. To the actual point of the thread, I've made a few questions regarding politics and I'd like some of you to answer them. I'll use this for my presentation I'll be doing this Monday in my school, so it would be nice if a lot of people could answer them! I myself who don't live in the US or anywhere near the country can't really put a word on what I think of him, but news I've heard of him are both bad and good. For example: As in another question, "do you think trumps wall idea was bad" yes, I think so. Because why let the Mexicans pay for it when the US are going to build it? Another example: Trump is trying to handle things with Kim Jong Un about bombing etc, which is good because he wants to protect his country. As I said above, I don't know so much about Trump so I can't really answer more. (Don't take me wrong please)
I'm talking about change through surgery. Mexico is largely in dept with the U.S.A. and the wall alone wouldn't even pay it off completely. I think it was a smart move by Trump both economically and geo-politically. He is also the first president to have good relations with Putin, which is a great thing. The reason why you don't hear a lot of good news is due to the mainstream media. 90% of the big media are for the left so they tend to trash on Trump. I'm not gonna answer the questions you provided (I mean I won't vote in the strawpolls), mainly because I haven't looked into any of those matters, so I can't really have a strong opinion about any of those. However, I'll be glad to mention my points of view. 1. From as far as I'm concerned, Trump is just an entrepreneur. 2. One thing I know is that Obama did a better job that Trump, probaby because Trump hasn't been a president for as long as he has (yet). 3. I don't see how it would be a good idea to create a giant wall, it will just cost a lot of money and time. 4. I guess they should, as they can't have access to both genders' bathrooms, it'd be weird to see a female in the males' bathroom, regardless. 5. I actually have no idea about this. 6. Probably, if he isn't doing a good job already, then the only reason terrorists aren't getting through is because they themselves don't wanna. 7. I don't think allowing citizens to have firearms is a good idea at all, for x reasons. I'll assume it was allowed for self-defence purposes only. 8. The media just publish anything they find interesting, I don't think they're trynna trash Trump just because they're exposing him for stuff, etc. 9. Black lives do matter and the movement should continue to matter, as long as racism remains a public problem that affects people's lives in a negative way. 10. I also have no idea about this. I'm open to all criticism and opinions.
