Hello people of coldnetwork. The following rules have been changed: Admitted to cheating: 15d IPBan Cheats found in SS is now not appealable. (If you think the screenshare ban was false you may staff-report the staff member.) Illegal Mods: 30 Days IPBan. These rules are changed as off NOW meaning that these rules will apply to all future bans.
So you're going to tell me if you have any illegal modifications on your desktop you should be banned without the chance of appeal. Also, shouldn't depend on what kind of modification is being used?
If u dont Admit to cheating and then get caught you should be banned yes if you don’t cheat u don’t have a problem if u do u have one it’s that easy
We'll only ban you if the cheats are active on the session you are playing. Also, if you're gonna try and bypass our staff and not admit you can buy an unban.
By implementing these new rules people will start recording screenshared since if a Staff member bans someone for some useless crap it’ll be permanent and unappealable. The part where it says ‘you can report a staff member at the staff report section’ is a statement which I disagree on, for starters without any evidence (since we can’t record the screenshare) it’ll be your word against a staff members word, spoiler alert: you’ll never win. Apart from this there’s another reason which is abuse/minor modifications, there’s no way we can proof that the staff abused, which resorts in absolutely nothing for the staff member and the player. The third and final argument is just simply that it’s too severe, you’ll be perm IP-banned without permission to appeal for as an example an 2 months old Jnativehook file, that’s just how it works around here. Not spreading hate, just my opinion.
Unless you are actually cheating you probably won't be banned because most staff do their thing and if they don't find anything they'll use Azran to check as well and if that comes up clean the player is let go. Azran rarely false flags to my knowledge so anyone who is flagged by it is using something. All our staff know not to ban someone for something if it isn't currently being used in that session of minecraft therefore your argument about old stuff getting them banned is completely false. Like I said most players are caught by Azran so if somebody believes their ban is false we will check it with the Azran boys to see if they were 100% correctly caught and if they weren't then they'll be unbanned and the staff will be dealt with
I personally feel like tools are sketch, tools flag false quite often. Even if there’s an one percent chance that is false flags, it’s enough time to be worried about.
Azran uses its own server to scan, its getting updated everyday. 99% of Azran flags are true, and we can also ask Azran devs for the specific file that caused Azran flag "Cheats Found".
