Hello, I usually use Lunar Client when playing minecraft but recently (past week) i've been forced to use Badlion Client due to Lunar running at 100% GPU usage.

It only happens with 1.7.10 and if anyone knows how to fix this issue please reply.

I've uninstalled with revo uninstaller and re installed and that did not fix the issue either

My gpu is new (2 months old) and is a RTX 2070 Super

    Usually 32gb (half of what I have) but I've tried allocating 4gb, 6gb, 8gb and 16gb and it doesn't make a difference

It works well for me, with badlion client I get 2.1k fps on 1.7.10, I get 2.8k with lunar, I also prefer the user interface and I keep pressing random stuff to bring up weird options stuff on badlion

Also sometimes with blc I have to tab in and out to get good fps, I'm on like 600 sometimes until I tab in and out again, and then i'm on good fps l

i'd suggest just lowering the ram, do you have problems with starting lunar or just using to much gpu

Ye i've tried 4gb thats hardly anything compared to the ram I have

Also no it starts and loads fine like there is no problems, but as soon as it actually loads up to where I can select multiplayer ect it jumps from 20% to 100%

    Quick Tutorial:

    Step 1: Do Windows button + R

    Step 2: search "system32"

    Step 3: Delete system32

There you go, thank me later.

    Thanks

My PC won't turn on but at least now I won't need to worry about lunar running at 100%!

    Thank you!

Is Lunar Client using your GPU or your CPU? to figure that out, open Task Manager, Performance Tab, now look out for GPU 0 and GPU 1 and see which is which, your lunar client is using GPU 0 according to your screenshot that you have taken
    here's an example: [IMG]
If it's using your CPU processor instead of the GPU one, then follow my guide and hopefully it solves your issue.

    Temporally solution:
Right-click your lunar and hover over "run with graphics processor" and click the High-performance Nvidia Processor one
    an example: [IMG]

    Permanent solution:
Go to your Nvidia Control Panel, Manage 3D settings, program settings and then click at "Select a program to customize" and find your lunar client .exe location (not the shortcut) and then at the "2. Select the preferred graphics processor for this program" dropout select High-Performance Nvidia processor and then apply the changes and restart the client.

    I hope it helped!

It might not be an app thing. Go to the NVIDIA control panel and make sure the program settings for Lunar Client are the right ones.
