Yeah I finished the manga yesterday, currently waiting for more episodes. Fairy Tail is one of the most beautiful and epic fantasy themed animes/mangas, my fav one.

Don't watch fairy tail, it's just like SAO, popular but shit. It's mostly a guy screaming for no reason throughout the whole show. The """"last""""" season is ok tho
Except that goblin slayer is nothing like fairy tail. The story line is different, the protagonist is nothing like natsu, there is a flying dog/cat/mix for some reason? Fairy tail is a shounen, goblin slayer is an action/fantasy anime. Goblin slayer is a lot more gore-y as well. If he likes goblin slayer, he should watch berserk.
