Hello, inspector Advertzz here. When I tell you that screensharing can be a crime, you will probably disagree with me 9 times out of ten. But, you are, according to law, not allowed to further more execute a screenshare if one of the parts are not okay with it. It's called Computer Missuse Act, and it can lead to 2 years in jail and a fine up towards five thousand dollars. So when the suspect of choice chooses not to give you full control, simply just accept it and don't threaten with a ban. Let the suspect do it him or herselft at their own pace. However, there are rules on Cold saying that if they REFUSE, or MODIFY they pc before ss, you can ban them. I don't know why I made this retarded thread, I wanted to share some of my knowledge with you all.
Keep in mind we kindly ask the player to let us join his/her PC screen via AnyDesk. If the player refuses, we don't obligate him/her to do it. Anyways according to our rules, players that refuse to be SSed will be unfortunately suspended. Thanks for the information, tho.
When you open anydesk and give the staff member access to your computer you're giving him an exception to take control of your PC. That also goes with anyone who screen shares for support, and for different reasons. That is why some servers - instead of taking control - give them instructions to do things. You can always disagree to be screenshared if you do not trust a staff member on a network and that is completely your right, but there'll be consequences. That's due to the reason that our capabilities are limited in finding anything that is hidden to be used as an advantage on the network. or you can always ask for lunar client partnership
you suck at reading sam. what cold is doing isn't illegal, it's only illegal if they were to screenshare them without authorization. It would also be illegal if they did anything to a file, they don't, they just look through them.
