Information How to play Factions

Hey Guys! It's me KingDynasty and I'm here to explain on how you have to play factions.

Starting in Factions

Having a faction is like having a home, You can either create or join a faction, Factions allow you to claim, unclaim set a faction home. If you claim a land your faction will have permission will build on it and only your faction members can build on it. You need to be a faction officer or in other words Promoted to Faction moderator to claim a piece of land or set a set a Faction home. You can create big factions or go solo, it is really your choice, but at the end of the day owning or being in a faction is top priority.

Creating a faction

You can create a faction by using the command /f create (faction name). Do not use bad language or racial slurs in your faction name because it is punishable! Creating a faction makes you the faction leader meaning you got access to claim, unclaim, kick, promote and set a faction home. You basically have full control over the faction.

Joining/kicking/inviting a person into a faction

Now we talked about creating a faction lets talk about how to join one. Joining a faction requires an invite from a faction moderator or the leader himself. After getting invited you have to join them by typing the command /f join (faction name that invited you, or a persons name who is in the faction). If you are wondering how you invite you need to type the command /f invite (player name) but you need to be a moderator in a faction to invite people and to kick people you need to be a moderator, but you need to be the factions leader to kick a moderator , you do this by typing /f kick (player name)

Claims and power

Each member after joining a faction has 50 power. Your power automatically regenerates if you do not die. Each 5 minutes or so you get 1 power and if you die you lose 4 power , You can check your power by typing /f power and check other players's power by doing /f power (player name). For an example "your faction can only claim 250 land if your faction has 250 power" If for example you invite 4 people in the faction You will have 250 power (you and the 4 of them have 50 power so = 250 power). Now you are able to claim 250 land. If one of your members die they lose power making the faction power 250-4 so 246 power , That means another faction can claim your land by doing /f claim over it because you do not have enough power to own 250 land instead now you have enough power to have 246 land , This is called overclaiming a faction (claiming a faction's land after they do not have enough power to control their land) , To stay on the safe spot make sure you invite people that do not have under for example 20 power and make sure you do not claim the amount of land that is the amount of your power, so you can't be overclaimed!

Secure your land

If you are not overclaimable meaning you have enough power to control your land, other factions might want to raid you by using tnt cannons! This is why you should make your base away from people and other bases so none finds it! If someone finds it they might want to attempt to raid it, so you have to be prepared by building your base out of obsidian and putting water around your base to make sure tnt does not blow up and cause damage. You can check youtube videos on how to protect your base in factions! With this you are secure and your loot that is inside your base is unharmed! In some servers you are allowed to open chests in enemy territory, so make sure you know if the server allows opening chest in other factions territory so you can block the chests by putting a block over it, or building a regeneration chests. Also make sure your base is not glitchable! Glitching is bannable if reported with proof to a staff member, but if the person glitches without anyone knowing they might get inside your base without needing to cannon your base walls and will probably use creeper eggs which blow stuff inside the base, so make sure you make it un-glitchable. Also, insiding is a thing on factions, insiding is when a person in a Faction betrays for a different Faction or is bribed to so it. It is bannable, so if you have proof of a person insiding he will be punished and your stuff will be returned.

Raiding

You might of heard of the term raiding in factions. Raiding as we explained in the last paragraph is using tnt cannons and creeper eggs and cobble monsters and all that is needed to break inside someone's base and take the loot! You can learn raiding by looking at youtube videos on how to make a cannon or cobble monsters etc.

Events

Some Factions servers have events for example KOTH a.k.a King of the hill. If you win a koth you get a koth key which you can use on a koth create to get rare loot! Crates are basically loot boxes, but to open a loot box you need a key and the higher the rarity of the key the bigger the loot! You can get vote crate keys by voting and the other crates need donations and the KOTH create requires you to win a koth.

Ranks

Ranks can be gained by donating or spending your in game money to get in game ranks now obviously donation ranks are better then in game ranks. Ranks give you permissions and access to commands like /kit (rank name) giving you loot and goodies , To know more about ranks go to /warp ranks In game!

Bases

As mentioned on the paragraph "Secure your land" it's recommended to build your base out of Obsidian. Make sure to build the base to the max Y level & properly water it. Then there are 3 types of walls you can build, Sand, Cobblestone and Obsidian. Cobblestone are really recommended, but Sand walls are also really great, then there is Obsidian, hey if you are that rich in a Factions server, why not do it.

How to get money

There are 3 ways to get money in Factions, by making large farms, mob farms (which are able to exist by spawners) and of course raiding. Making a big farm would be the easiest way to get cash, the best farm you could build is a Cactus farm, then when you have the money you can also start building mob farms. Raiding is also possible, but if the enemy faction has many deffences, then you'll have to use your own money to get into their base and if there isn't a lot of stuff inside it, it doesn't pay out.

How to get Factions Top

So, if you want to get a Factions Top payout, which is a BuyCraft cupon in the servers store you need to have a lot of Spawners or some spawners who are worth a lot of money, like Iron Golem spawners or Which Spawners. So the easiest way to be apart of the FTop payouts is to be in a Big Faction who are really dedicated to get the Factions Top payout.
