The Anti-cheat is 90% correct. Anti-cheat uses packets to check if you're hacking and the VL. I'm sure that you got banned because the Anti-cheat detected a higher VL. Lagging can't affect the Anti-cheat detected something more than your typical Client.
Not exactly sure you know what you’re talking about. VL is short for “Violation Level”. When you flag a check, the anti-cheat stores that information as a “VL”. 2 VL means you flagged a check twice. for auto-bans, there’s a specific threshold for the Violation Level before a user gets banned.
