I've had this disgusting membrane keyboard for about 4 years now, and I've been typing about 110 - 130 on it. And I feel as if I need a mechanical keyboard due to the satisfying look, sound, and function of the keyboard. I personally prefer Cherry MX Brown Switches due to the how much it is in the middle. Not extremely loud, but still has perfect response time. Also, a price anywhere below $120 I could go for $130 depending on the quality of the keyboard.
Currently have a Razer Huntsman, the switches are opto-mechanical meaning it’s still very mechanical but has a membrane feel also. I would recommend for switching over.
