Personally, if you spoke to the staff that froze you, you should have been given extra time. If you had extra time given to you then there ain't much staff can do for you. If you have proof of the error then I suggest posting it.
What you are saying is correct. I have met many players that just act disrespectful without cooperating with the staff member that froze them once they ran out of time.
